Addiction is a disease of the brain and is understood as drug behavior. This behavior is compulsive, in the sense that a person has a persistent urge to take drugs. Slowly taking this medicine turns into a consistent problem and one cannot come out of it on his own. Intoxication of any substance is possible for example, alcohol, afer, cannabis, heroin and sometimes even medically prescribed drugs. Also, it's important to point out that long-term use of drugs can cause chemical changes in the brain and drug abuse can be more than just a bad habit. It is therefore seen as a serious mental health condition that needs treatment.
